whirlwind of a week
I’m sitting in the cooking shelter that smells like a wood stove surrounded by RV’s, campers, tents, and a view of the mountains. It’ll be my final view of a mountain range for the next couple of days as I hike and explore, before setting off across the prairies.
It’s been a whirlwind of a week - from wine country to the Rockies - hiking, camping, sleeping in my tent in the pouring rain. The Canadian Rocky Mountains are so much different than the ones on the coast and I have been basking in their beauty, their size, their striking grandeur as I made my way to Calgary.
I already miss the mountains, and, I am so excited in a few days time to finally cross into Ontario. Two provinces down! Two more to go!
All for now,
All my love,
Onward.
